is nevertheless an excellent cook who prepares restaurant quality meals I bought these for my wife, who although she would not call herself a chef, is nevertheless an excellent cook who prepares restaurant quality meals. Her old set of Sam’s Cutlery had finally seen the end of their days after about a 10 year run. She would say that she doesn’t need a set of knives costing thousands, but rather good quality knives that cut well, hold their sharpness, and come in a variety of sizes and types.¬†

Solid steak knives It’s so difficult buying a product like knives without being able to handle and hold them. That being said, I’m happy with these steak knives. They are attractive, have a nice heft when you’re holding them, and cut well. They are a little larger than my current steak knives, and that took some getting used to. The serrated edges are deep and very sharp; I’d not recommend allowing children to use them. Overall very happy with them.
